CanningHill Piers is a landmark redevelopment of the former Liang Court site, featuring two iconic towers connected by a sky bridge. Designed by BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), the project’s complex geometry and high-profile location at the edge of Clarke Quay demanded a rigorous digital delivery framework.

The project’s delivery is anchored by a high-resolution BIM framework that manages the geometry of the curvilinear facade. Every panel and structural node is digitally modeled to ensure a perfect fit, which is essential for maintaining the building’s aesthetic integrity while meeting strict energy performance targets. Digital Twin technology is also being integrated to allow for the real-time monitoring of the building’s structural health and energy consumption during its lifecycle.

This level of digital sophistication is what allows such an avant-garde design to be realized within the constraints of a dense urban site. The project demonstrates the necessity of a robust digital infrastructure in delivering the next generation of luxury mixed-use landmarks.Jewel Changi is a world-class feat of engineering, headlined by a 14,000-square-metre glass-and-steel gridshell. The construction of this asymmetric dome, which houses a five-storey indoor garden and a 40-metre-tall waterfall, required a level of geometric precision that pushes the boundaries of modern digital construction
